Products Description
Platinum titanium mesh electrode is used for gold and silver jewelry electroplating. It has a mesh or sheet appearance, and the surface color is silvery white with metallic luster. Titanium mesh is mainly used as anode for jewelry electroplating. It is made of pure titanium and has a layer of electroplated platinum on its surface. It has good conductivity and uniform current. It can replace gold anode plate and pure platinum anode plate.
Detailed description:
1). Platinum layer thickness: 1um-5um
2). Life of titanium mesh electrode: more than three years in the gold plating tank.

Company introduction

FOCUSED ON HIGH OUALITY TITANIUM MATERIAL
The Baoji JM-TITANIUM Metal company developed and produced the ruthenium-iridium-coated titanium electrodes and the platinum-coated titanium electrodes. These electrodes, which use imported ionic membranes, have a stable electrolysis effect and are widely used in home water electrolysis machines, disinfection water machines, and large water With its low energy efficiency, consistent electrolysis, long lifespan, low cost, and successful passing of the EU's EC-1935-2004 test, the factory has gained popularity and been put to use.

Product Process
1. Purchase the GR1 titanium substrate to ensure that the surface of the plate is smooth and flat, without deep scratches and defects.
2. Machining the purchased titanium substrate and processing it to the size required by the customer.
3. Annealing and leveling the titanium substrate at a temperature of >500 °C. (To eliminate stress and ensure flatness.)
4. When the annealing leveling treatment, a dense titanium oxide layer is formed on the surface of the titanium substrate, and it is polished by mechanical or artificial means, and the surface thereof is made of titanium metallic luster.
5. The titanium substrate is subjected to pickling etching with 10% strength oxalic acid, and is subjected to a micro-boiling state for several hours to etch the surface oxide layer into a titanium hydride surface.
6. Qualitative and quantitative configuration of the precious metal solution according to the anode environment applied by the customer.
7. Detecting that the pickled titanium substrate is qualified, that is, the surface layer is gray uniform matte structure, and then manually coating and arranging, sintering at a set temperature, sintering naturally, cooling, and cooling to normal temperature for a second coating Resume, and so on, until the configuration solution is finished after 17~20 times.
8. After the sintering of the above processed parts is completed, the life test will be carried out with the test piece of the furnace, and the qualified package will be shipped.

Working principle
This titanium mesh is made entirely of pure titanium, which has strong electrical conductivity and is difficult to dissolve or change color.
The titanium mesh can be used to clean and activate the surface of copper, silver, and gold jewelry as well as serve as a cleaning agent for the workpiece when combined with an electroplating machine and electrolytic water.
To prevent oxidation on gold, silver, and copper jewelry, titanium mesh is coated with platinum or gold using an electroplating equipment and electroplating water.

Precautions for jewelry electroplating
1. Before electroplating, jewelry must be electrolyzed, and then washed once with 5% acid (usually 5% sulfuric acid), and then washed three times with water.
2. Preparation work before electroplating, turn on the power supply, adjust the voltage to the specified voltage of the metal to be electroplated (please consult the supplier of the electroplating solution for the specific voltage), connect the anode (positive pole) of the power supply to the titanium mesh placed in the electroplating tank, and connect the cathode (negative pole) of the power supply to the water line with the jewelry to be electroplated.
3. Quickly put the water line with jewelry hanging on the cathode power line into the electroplating tank, immerse all the jewelry in the electroplating solution, and keep moving the jewelry back and forth in the electroplating tank.
4. After 10 seconds, quickly remove the water line and jewelry from the electroplating solution, and rinse with clean water three to four times after taking them out.
5. Dry the cleaned jewelry in a special jewelry heating and drying furnace, and the entire jewelry electroplating process is successfully completed.
