    (1) Ti6A14V belongs to α+β type alloy, with large dosage.

    (2) It has good process performance, its conventional thermal deformation is carried out in the two-phase region, and the deformation must be greater than 50% to transform the coarse original Widmanstatten structure into an equiaxed structure.

    (3) After deformation processing, according to different needs, stress relief annealing (600℃ insulation, air cooling), ordinary annealing (700-800℃ insulation, air cooling), recrystallization annealing (940℃ insulation and then furnace cooling to 480℃ air cooling) and double annealing (940℃ insulation and air cooling + 700℃ insulation and air cooling) and other heat treatment processes can be used. The structure obtained by stress relief annealing and ordinary annealing is non-recrystallized or partially recrystallized structure with high strength; after recrystallization annealing, equiaxed α+ intergranular p structure is obtained, with good plasticity; after double annealing, equiaxed α+β structure is obtained, which is close to the dual-state structure morphology and has good comprehensive performance (about 900-1000MPa, δ is 10%, ψ is about 35%-45%).

    (4) Strengthening heat treatment can increase the strength by 20%-30%. It is generally believed that at 850 Aging at -950℃ can obtain a microstructure with appropriate primary α content and good overall dielectric properties. The hardenability of TC4 alloy is poor, and the cross-section of parts using enhanced heat treatment is generally not greater than 40 mm.

    (5) The alloy has good weldability, and the temperature of the weld zone is not lower than 90% of the substrate; the plasticity is also similar to that of the base metal.

    (6) The corrosion resistance is close to that of pure titanium, and it can work for a long time below 400℃, and the short-term working temperature can reach 700-750℃. When the oxygen and nitrogen content in the alloy is at a low level, TC4ELI alloy can still maintain good plasticity at -196℃, and can be used to make low-temperature and high-pressure containers.

    Forged Titanium Ring Surface treatment: lathing, chamfering.

    Surface quality: The titanium surface should not have cracks, folds, heavy skin and other defects visible to the naked eye. Local surface defects can be cleaned by grinding, and the cleaning depth should not exceed its dimensional tolerance and should be its allowable size. The ratio of cleaning depth to width should not be greater than 1:6 at both end faces, and should not be greater than 1:10 at the inner and outer side faces. The outer side surface grinding should be along the axial direction. the surface roughness Ra of the inner and outer side faces should not be greater than 12.5μm (Ra should not be greater than 3.2μm when the outer circumference needs ultrasonic flaw detection), and the chamfer radius is 5~15mm. .
