1. Working principle of sodium hypochlorite generator
The sodium hypochlorite generator is a device that generates sodium hypochlorite solution by electrochemical reaction of low-concentration salt water through energized electrodes.
2. Basic operation process of sodium hypochlorite generator
When working, first turn on the power supply, the sodium hypochlorite generator adds ordinary industrial salt (about RMB per kilogram) into the salt device to dissolve it into about 10% brine, open the valve to let the brine enter the salt storage tank through filtration and precipitation; then, start the self-distribution water switch, and the equipment automatically mixes the brine to a dilute brine with a concentration of about 13%; then open the valve and adjust the flowmeter to let the mixed brine pass through a sandwich electrolytic cell composed of a group of anode and cathode tubes at the set flow rate; finally, start the rectifier current switch, and open the cooling water valve at the same time to cool the electrolytic cell, and the sodium hypochlorite generator starts working. In this way, the entire equipment produces a standard sodium hypochlorite generator liquid (concentration of about 1%); finally, the liquid automatically flows into the liquid storage tank for storage and addition at any time.
Backwashing: After each shift, backwashing must be done once. When backwashing, open the drain valve first to drain the salt water accumulated in the pipe, then open the backwash drain and backwash water inlet valve, flush for about 10 minutes, then open the drain valve, find and drain the accumulated water, and wait for the next use.
Pickling: The generator needs to be pickled once after a cumulative operation of 250 hours. The pickling cycle can be extended or shortened according to the water quality. When pickling, open all drain valves first to drain the accumulated salt water in the pipe, then open the acid inlet valve and the acid outlet valve until the acid outlet drain pipe has acid water flowing out of the organic pipe, then close the acid inlet valve, wait for the acid water to soak in the electrode tube for 1 to 2 hours, then drain the acid water, and then backwash again. Generally, the concentration of dilute hydrochloric acid is about 10%.
3. Precautions
①-Generally, when working automatically, no special person is needed for management. After adding salt once, it can work for (7-10) days. When there is a lack of salt water, it will automatically shut down and alarm. The generator must be backwashed once when adding salt, and it must be acid-washed once every month.
②When the equipment is running, it is strictly forbidden to operate without cooling. If the unit stops water, the equipment is strictly forbidden to use.
③Regularly check whether the power connection plug is loose and hot, and whether the filter net in the high-level salt box is blocked, and remove it in time.
④Try to avoid fireworks indoors, keep good ventilation, and equip part-time personnel for management
