Coating and firing
According to the requirements of different uses, the halides of Ru, Ir, Sn, Ti, Pd, Ta, Co, Ni, etc. are prepared into alcohol solutions in different proportions → coated → dried → oxidized and fired, and the required anodes are made repeatedly → quality inspection → delivery.
Surface treatment of titanium substrate
In order to increase the effective area of the substrate and enhance the adhesion between the coating and the titanium substrate, 10%~15% alkali or detergent is usually used to boil to remove oil, and then 10%~15% oxalic acid is used to boil to etch.

The chemical reaction that takes place simultaneously with electroplating in the electroplating tank is to precipitate oxygen on the anode surface.
Compared with non inert anodes such as graphite, the advantage of titanium anode is that it can maintain a stable distance between positive and negative electrodes (distance between electrodes) within its service life. Graphite anode will gradually dissolve in use, leading to an increase in the distance between electrodes, while inert titanium anode can ensure a stable voltage and product quality. Due to the catalytic properties of platinum group elements, the exchange current density value on the electrode surface is large, the oxygen precipitation overvoltage is low, and a special process is used to make a micro structured oxide film on the titanium surface to obtain a large active surface area per unit electrode area. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for high-speed and high current density electroplating production.
In addition to titanium anodes and graphite, lead anodes can also be used in this field. However, when lead is anodic dissolved, the reactants will have a negative impact on the environment. These problems can be avoided if titanium anode is used. The working voltage of titanium anode for oxygen evolution is low, so it can also save energy.
Another advantage of using titanium anodes is that titanium substrates can be reused. When the service life of titanium anode coating reaches its service life, anodized aluminum foil is a material commonly used in lithography industry. Its working principle is the same as the electroplating process. A very thin layer of metal is coated on the surface of the base metal. By putting aluminum in an anodic state, the surface of aluminum will be oxidized. After the anodizing (oxidation) process of aluminum, the surface of aluminum can be better bonded with the photosensitive coating needed in the lithographic printing industry.
