    What electrode is used for electrochemical descaling?

    Circulating hydrochemical equipment includes two parts: electrode coating materials and equipment structural design. In fact, electrode materials determine structural design and are the core of electrochemistry. Electrodes generally refer to titanium oxide electrodes, which are coated with oxide on a titanium substrate. The titanium substrate is non-conductive, while the coating is conductive. Under the action of electrolysis, when the coating dissolves or is damaged, titanium is no longer inert and will undergo electrochemical corrosion and dissolution. Titanium element has active properties. Titanium electrodes need to have excellent conductivity, otherwise they will have high power consumption, low current efficiency, high subsequent operating costs, and high electrode replacement costs.

    According to the principle of electrolysis, the anode adsorbs anions, which will undergo physical, chemical, and electrochemical reactions on the electrode surface.     Titanium electrode scaling maintenance method !

    1. In order to reduce sedimentation and scaling, the raw water is softened to remove suspended solids, certain colloidal substances, and organic impurities, which can prevent or reduce sedimentation and scaling. Pre treatment can also be performed to remove the hardness of the raw water, effectively preventing scaling.

    2. Acid washing method: There is always a small amount of precipitated scale generated during the operation of the electrodialysis machine, especially in areas with poor water quality. After accumulating to a certain extent, acid washing treatment needs to be carried out. According to the situation, regular acid washing treatment is a simple and effective method to eliminate sedimentation without dismantling the equipment. The cycle depends on the actual situation, and generally 1% to 2% hydrochloric acid is used for cyclic cleaning.

    3. Use reverse electrode: Regularly reverse the electrode to change the direction of ion migration. According to the actual situation, the electrode is usually reversed every 2-8 hours. In recent years, automatic reverse electrodes have been frequently used both domestically and internationally for about 15-30 minutes. In this way, even slight precipitation can be effectively removed. However, frequent reverse requires high quality of ruthenium iridium electrodes and high loss of titanium electrodes.     Answer: Wooden cases are do heavy, but as per our years of export experience, carton box can make damage for the anode. Though wooden cases are heavy, but it will not damage the anode.
