Titanium Electrode Plates With Platina

Titanium-based platinum electroplating process, the platinum coating has a dense structure and a bright silvery white appearance. It has the characteristics of high anode discharge current density and long service life. Compared with other titanium-based platinum coating processes, the titanium-based platinum plating process deposits a layer of pure platinum coating on the surface of titanium, while the titanium-based platinum coating process coats a layer of platinum-containing compounds on the titanium base. After high-temperature sintering, a layer of platinum-containing oxide is formed on the surface of titanium, which has a loose structure, high resistivity, and high consumption rate during electrolysis. Titanium-based platinized titanium mesh is the best choice for precious metal plating anodes.

 

 

Platinum-coated titanium electrode has four outstanding characteristics as an anode material:

1. Strong corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high stability, and can be used in various media;

2. Lower cost than pure gold and pure platinum anodes, but has similar electrochemical performance;

3. The overpotential of the oxygen desorption reaction is very high, while the overpotential of the hydrogen desorption reaction is very low.

4. It has the characteristics of high output current density, uniform conduction and low loss, and is suitable for making DSA insoluble anodes.
