The leakage of titanium condenser is generally caused by shell damage, tube damage and nozzle weld leakage. Due to the continuity of production, it is generally in a continuous working state, and it is difficult to find the leakage point
It's hard to deal with. There are roughly four reasons.
1. External force damage:
Due to the action of external forces during the transportation and installation of the equipment, the exposed steel plate shell will often be damaged, resulting in cracks or other damage to the shell. It may be small at the initial stage and not easy to be detected, but it will expand slowly after a period of use, and leakage will occur.
2. Wear and corrosion:
Some titanium condensers have been used for many years. The tube wall has been damaged by the abrasion of impurities in the cooling water and the corrosion of materials. In addition, in order to remove scale, mud, rust, etc., it is necessary to clean once or twice a year, which also causes some damage to the pipe wall and shell. In addition, hard objects such as sand contained in the primary water will also cause wear on the pipe wall.
3. Poor welding quality:
In most cases, the leakage of the equipment is on the weld between the end flower plate and the tube head of the tube. The weld leakage can only indicate the welding quality problem. Manual arc is usually used in this part
There are slag inclusion, bubble, incomplete weld and incomplete penetration in welding. These conditions are difficult to judge at the initial stage, but will be exposed after a period of use.
4. Poor quality of steel pipe:
Sometimes we find that the materials between the pipes emerge from the pipe orifice, which indicates that the pipe wall is damaged, and the materials leak into the pipe from the pipe orifice, and then emerge from the pipe orifice. Titanium condenser is exposed to steel
The plate shell and the tubes are evenly distributed in the shell, and both ends are welded on the flower plates at both ends of the shell, so the tubes will not be damaged by external forces. But these devices haven't been used for a long time
The wear and corrosion damage will not be too serious, so it can only be considered that the pipe leakage is due to the quality problem of some pipes.
