Recently, organized by China Nuclear Energy Industry Association, Lanshi Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hunan Xiangtou Jintian Titanium Metal Co., Ltd. jointly tackled the "localized development of high-performance titanium strips for nuclear power plate heat exchangers." The appraisal meeting for the scientific and technological achievements of the project was held in Beijing.
At the meeting, the project team reported the development and results of the high-performance titanium strip project for nuclear power plate heat exchangers to the experts of the appraisal committee. The experts affirmed the project team’s work and believed that the project was of great significance and realized the domestic nuclear power plate heat exchange. The breakthrough of the titanium plate from scratch solves the problem of material "stuck neck". After on-site inquiries and answers, the appraisal and appraisal was successfully passed.
During the period, Lanshi Heavy Equipment Heat Exchange Co., Ltd. and Hunan Xiangtou Jintian Titanium Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on actively promoting and realizing the localization of titanium plates for high-end plate heat exchangers such as nuclear power.
With the joint efforts of the three parties, the project of "Localization of High-Performance Titanium Plates and Strips for Nuclear Power Plate Heat Exchangers" has achieved a number of key technological breakthroughs. The high-performance titanium plates and strips used in nuclear plate heat exchangers produced have passed the component performance test and installed capacity. Application verification, fully meets nuclear power related standards and usage requirements. At present, the overall technology of the high-performance titanium strip project for nuclear power plate heat exchangers has reached the international advanced level, and the products have stable mass production capacity, breaking the monopoly of nuclear power plate heat exchangers by foreign companies and long-term dependence on imports.
