The titanium-coated platinum electrode developed by them produces acidic water with a pH value of 5.11 and an ORP of 313mV; alkaline water with a pH value of 9.75 and an ORP of -354mV, which fully meets the industry standard for ionized water.
An electrolyzed water machine can obtain pure water, alkaline ionized water, acidic ionized water, super acidic water and super alkaline water through manual operation.
Considering that the preparation of super-acidic water has higher requirements on the performance of electrode materials, the researchers improved on the P-type titanium-platinum-coated electrode and developed the P6-type titanium-platinum-coated electrode.
The P6 titanium-coated platinum electrode has been installed in 5 kinds of water electrolysis devices on a large scale.
