2.Principle of Titanium anode for electrodialysis

Under the action of an extemal direct current electric field ,the permeability of the ion exchange membrane(thst is the cation membrane only allows cations to pass through,and the anion membrane only allows anions to pass though) allows the anions and cations in the water to move in a directional direction, so as to achieve the ions and cations in the water.A physial and chemical proess of water separation.The principle is: between the cathode and the anode, a number of alternately arranged positive and negative membranes are placed to allow water to pass through the two membranes and the compartment formed between the two membranes and the two poles. Afer the two electrodes are connected to the direct power supply,The anions and cations in the water migrate towards the anode and cathode respectively: Due to the selective permeability of the cation membrane and the anion membrane, alternalely arranged light chambers with reduced ion concentration and concerntrated chambers with increased ion concentration are formed.At the same time, an oxidation-reducton reaction occurs on the two electrods, that is, an electrode reaction.As a resulT, the cathode chamber is fouled due to the alkalinity of the solution, and the anode chamber is corroded due to the acidic solution.Therefore,in the electrodialysis process ,the consumption of electrical energy is mainly used to overcome the resistance and eletrode reaction encoutered when the current passes through the solution and membrane.

3.Electrodialysis device

The structure of the electrodialyzer includes the pressing plate,the electrode support plate,the elecrode, the pole frame,the negative membrane,the concentrated water separator , the fresh water separator and other components.

These parts are assembled and pressed in a certain order to form a certain form of electrodialysis device. The auxiliary equipment of the electrodialysis device also includes a water pump,a rectifier , etc., which constitute the electrodialysis device
