The advantages of using titanium anodes for pool water disinfection
The titanium anode used for swimming pool disinfection is an electrolytic cell containing sodium chloride (NaCl) solution, through which an electric current is passed. The anode generates chloride (C1-) ions, while the cathode generates chlorine (C1-) ions
The electrode generates hydroxyl (OH+) ions. Like traditional chlorinated chemicals, this method can also generate chlorine. The electrolysis unit ultimately generates substances including chloride ions, hydrogen ions, and hypochlorous acid. Compared to traditional disinfection methods, electrolyzed soft water can greatly reduce irritation to the human body, while also having the characteristics of small size and easy maintenance.
