In addition, the anode plate has a lower operating voltage and power consumption, which can save about 20% of energy. The durability of the titanium anode is also quite good. In the industrial environment of chlorine production by the diaphragm method, it can resist the dual corrosion of chlorine and alkali. Compared with graphite anodes and lead anodes, it has no dissolution problem, avoids the contamination of electrolyte and cathode products, and thus improves product quality. At the same time, it can also increase the current density. For example, in the process of chlor-alkali production by the diaphragm method, the current density of the titanium anode can be increased to 17A/M2, compared with 8A/M2 of the graphite electrode, the output can be doubled. In addition, the anode plate can also perform well in highly corrosive or specially required electrolytic media, avoiding the short circuit problem caused by the deformation of the lead anode, thereby further improving the current efficiency. 3. Tantalum-iridium-titanium anode plate
When electrolytic extraction of metals in sulfuric acid solution occurs, oxygen will be precipitated on the anode, so it is crucial to choose the right anode material. Tantalum-iridium-coated titanium electrodes are highly regarded for their low oxygen overpotential and resistance to electrolyte corrosion. Its iridium oxide coating exhibits excellent electrolytic durability, and even after long-term use, the anode potential remains stable without coating weight loss.

In contrast, lead-based alloy electrodes (containing 6% to 15% Sb, or 1% Ag) will dissolve during the electrolysis process, which not only consumes the anode material and shortens the service life, but also leads to an increase in the lead impurity content in the metal precipitated at the cathode, thereby reducing product quality. In addition, ruthenium-based coatings are easily damaged in this environment, so they are not suitable.

It has a wide range of applications, including electrolytic production of non-ferrous metals, disinfection of food utensils, and production of electrolytic silver catalysts. In addition, it also has significant effects in the treatment of dyeing and finishing wastewater in wool spinning mills, electrolytic copper foil manufacturing, and galvanizing of steel plates. Iridium-tin-titanium anode plate has excellent current efficiency, especially in the environment of chlorine or oxygen evolution.
